Need advice, I already own two complete sets of Polk’s for 5.1 HT so my wife volunteered me to advise her Girlfriend and Husband on what speakers to buy, since listening to ours they want a good systems themselves they think I’m an expert at this which I’m not but I’m gaining knowledge by reading on the Polk Forum (of course they are going to be Polk speakers) and trial and error on my own that’s why I have two systems.

His budget is $1500.00 to $2000.00 Canadian, so what I was thinking after looking at the size of the room 20x16x9 foot ceiling was TSI 400 front, FXI A4 for the surround, CS20 and for the Sub PSW Pro 500.

He already picked up his AVR it is a Pioneer Elite Receiver. This system is mostly for BR movies and some music although after he listens to some tunes on this it may be more music then movies.

Thanks in advance

What system do you have that they liked?

You might look at the previous RTi line. I'm not sure how it is north of the border, but here you can get a new set for a great price. The Monitor line is another one to look out for as they have pretty steep discounts now with the TSi line out.

I have the Monitor 70, CS20,Kef Sub and Klipsch SR2 in the HT room.

As for the price it's lots more up here the TSI 400 is on sale for $600.00 right now.
