So me and a friend have decided to pick up a hobby we decided we would collect coins and such.
It is a bit of a competition if you would on who can get the coolest stuff and what not.
I am looking for things like silver certificates, silver dollars, those gold dollars wheat pennies, silver coins (pre 1964) etc etc.
Let me know what you have and what you would like for what you have.
Mind you this is just a hobby and I will not be paying full blown shop prices or buying things in that manner. I prefer to buy in bulk since that is easiest...
I do like those "funny" $2 bills as well. If anyone has those I would not mind them. My friend has a couple Easter bunny ones just to paint the picture on what I am referring to.
Thanks. Lemme know what you got.

There are bills floating about out there called Kennedy Dollars. They were printed after JFK ordered the dismantling of the Ferderal Reserve System in 1962. They are the last U.S. Bank Notes printed. and are also refered to as silver certificates. The Gear... Iraq money, that could be kind of cool. Send me a pm.
As for the silver certificates, I have a $1 one of those. Crisp too, got it from a gentleman where I work just a few days ago.
It is the blue print though, not as rare as the red print from what I read.
Did you have any?Receiver

I've got a small collection of coins I have found metal detecting over the years. Oldest is a 1801 Large Cent. Its a penny that is the size of a half-dollar! I've got several others you may be interested in, none all that rare though.--Gary--
Onkyo Integra M504, Bottlehead Foreplay III, Denon SACD, Thiel CS2.3, NHT VT-2, VT-3 and Evolution T6, Infinity RSIIIa, SDA1C and a few dozen other speakers around the house I change in and out. -
I have a few silver nickels and might have a few of the wartime steel wheat pennies laying around. I think i actually have a $1 green print silver certificate, but it's in pretty bad shape.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

Well, snap a few photos and tell me what you'd like for them and we can go from there?
A penny the size of a half dollar seems pretty cool to me though....
As for condition on the stuff, if I know what it is and it is half way legible it should be fine. A photo always makes things easier.
Thanks so much!Receiver

I collect coins and LP records. Slabed, PCGS or NGC coins are the most desireable. US Gold coins are the best investment. The best place to buy coins or records are on ebay imo. One thing about collecting coins it taught me how to save money. so now im more of a money hoarder rather than a coin collector. And buying nice records can be expensive also, but far less money than coins.

I am more or less collecting coins as a hobby. Me and a bud are into it for fun. See who can get the coolest stuff.Receiver
