Have all of the components ordered but the receiver, I was going to go with the Onkyo TX-SR707 but I see the updated version the TX-NR708 is out and is only 20 dollars more. Should I spend the extra 20? Anyone with any experience with the NR708?

My set up will be

Polk Audio TSi 300 in the front
Polk Audio TSi 100's in the rear
Polk Audio CS20 center channel
Polk Audio PSW505 SW

I will be using a Direct TV HD DVR box for TV/Cable
Also have a PS3 for gaming and Blu Ray discs
and an Xbox 360 also for gaming

Through a Samsung 67" LCD TV

Thanks!

Jeff

I am not so much worried about the $20, sorry if it is coming out that way, I am more interested in knowing if the updated version has any issues that were not present on the 707.

    Thanks for the help

Everything sold ends up with an issue at some point in time. The more you waffle the further that piece moves away from you. When buying audio you need only do one thing, research for 15 minutes maximum and make a decision.

Sounds like a "s@#t or get off the pot" scenario.

Good advice up above.....you can research stuff 100 ways to sunday until you come up with a reason not to buy something. Get your feet wet and don't look back my friend.
