LSi 15 mod
I got my modded LSi 15's back from Ben and let's just say I'm very happy I finally got it done. I'm not much of a reviewer so this will be brief and not very descriptive. The main thing that strikes me is the overall clarity. The music is just so clear and every instrument is where it's supposed to be. Not sure if this makes sense, but the lows, mids, and highs seem more distinctive or separated from one another.
I don't think I'd say the difference between modded and un-modded is night and day, but it is subtly significant. There's an oxymoron for you What I mean is that I didn't hook up the speakers and think, "Wow! These are awesome." BUT...after a little critical listening I did think that.
Along with the driver upgrade, I think I've got one great sounding pair of 15's:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin: Clapton's 461 Ocean Boulevard on SACD is sounding sooo good right now.

I am glad you are enjoying them. With time the imaging should really start to improve.
Enjoy.
BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

They def. need time to open up. Keep them on while you're at work to burn them in.

So they're going to get better?!
I thought they probably needed a little break-in time, but I'd be happy if this is as good as it gets.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden
