power cord: where to replace first

From what I gather, lots of folks like pangea ac9's which I ordered today. The question is where do I try it out first.

I have a rotel power conditioner hooked up to an outlet. I have a parasound hca 1500 powered off off that. I did make sure that the rotel can handle whatever peak required by the parasound so there is no attenuation in the current (atleast as per the rotel's wattage delivered).

The other component of interest is my subwoofer which is hooked up to a surge strip (again 1800watt rating).

Shd I replace the sub power cord or the parasound. My instinct tells me the parasound is where I would get the most sonic difference. Thoughts?
