My "local" LSi dealer 110 miles from me showed me some pictures of the new LCi in-wall and in-ceiling speakers today when I went there to pick up the LSi 15s. These speakers incorporate the Vifa tweeter and look sweet. The speaker will have an enclosure on the back side of them to help tighten the bass up as opposed to the "floating" in the sheetrock in ceiling speakers that I have right now (non-LSi).

He showed me pictures of two rectangular models that will compliment the LSi 7 / LSi 9 / and LSi 15. Then he showed me some of the circular in - ceiling models. One was a 6 1/2 inch I think and the other one was larger. The Vifa tweeter had this triangular bridge looking holder like an inverted "V" that placed it over the woofer cone. It looked cool. By the way they are not called LSi but LCi. Some of the model numbers were LCi 2 and LCi 5 I think. Retail prices are going to be like $499 to $699 for a pair. These were all prototype pictures and were clearly labeled as such. One of these pairs will be used in my ceilings for surrounds when they come out. Just very convenient for me and very clean looking installation especially complimenting the recessed canned lighting I have in the living room. I also saw a picture of the new PSW 808 sub but he didn't have any specks on it as far as bottom extension is concerned.

Here's a picture of the current in-wall ceiling Polks that I have. I installed them myself and the installation looks clean. One of the main reasons I haven't rearranged the living room for home theater yet too. Never had so much sheetrock dust on me when I cut the holes with a sheetrock saw. Sheetrock doesn't taste very good either.

Cool, didn't know about Polk posting the pics on their webpage. I guess I've been busy with other stuff. Yeah, that damn pic is tilted a bit I guess. So much for picture frame wire with two screw anchors! Must be all that bass!!

PJ - Do you have one leg shorter than the other or are you falling as you took that picture ;)

    That looks very clean indeed.

I usually have 2 lumps of sheetrock in my coffee in the morning, good source of fiber.

Well the pic dosnt match up.

The top wall trimming is lined up with the picture. Kinda off by a TAD - not really noticeable. But the picture is completely out of line with the door...WHAT GIVES? lol! Was your camera under the influence to? lol

I dunnno nemore - maybe it's the pic? Maybe the picture is completely out of wack or maybe i just need SLEEP!

Thanks for the link Chris. Last night I went to look on the website and still couldn't find them. I actually saw more pictures than these. Also forgot about the attenuation knobs on there too.
