Any suggestions on what the best speaker cable is? Digital? Brand names?

    There have been MANY heated discussions about this. I think it all boils down to budget, basically buy the best you can afford. If you've got a budget in mind, post it and some of the experts will surely give you some good suggestions

    kimber kable, IXOS, monster, HD lamp cord lol whatever u can afford, speaker wire is better then no speaker wire

    As long as it supports digital right? I planned to spend between 100 and 200 bucks on ebay for this.

    The output to all speakers is analog. The conversion from digital to analog is done in the receiver or pre/pro.

    Speaker wire carries the signal that is given to it, digital or not makes no difference.

    Sound quality wise there are obvious differences, but the wire doesn't care, only your ears. The digital stuff is handled by the source.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Check out www.heartlandcables.com that's what I use and have been very happy with them.

    I will probably get them tomorrow, FedEx ground isn't the fastest shipper I see.... :)

    I will probably burn them in for some hours before actual review, but yea, it will be a'comin ;)

    ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT OR WRONG ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only your ears will give YOU the right answer. And different cables will sound different with different speaks/ amp combinations. Some cables are brighter, smoother, more transparent...but the former still applies.
