Hello i have a question on the Xovers on the 1Cs. Back in the early 90s i had upgraded to the SRS 1.2s and sold my 1Cs to my uncle and he used them for a while and his kids just abused the hell out of them. Then about 4 or 5 years ago he called me up and asked if i wanted them back he did not want anything for them he just wanted to get rid of them so i went over and took a look and i was suprised to see that they cosmeticly looked great and were structurly sound. So of course i took them back and hooked them up and the sound was horrid but at that time i was unable to do anything about repairing them. So i put them in a corner and covered them each with a large plastic bag. Until recently. So far i have had to replace all the drivers and one tweeter but my concern is with the Xovers how do i check these-is there a schematic available and can a simple multimeter be used for testing the seperate components. I am a comercial electrician by trade and have a basic knowledge of electrical theory but thats where it ends so i dont know a whole lot about electronics and i would like to do this by myself so any help would be greatly apreciated. Now i know this sounds like a lot to ask for but i will gladly except any info on how to bring these once wonderful speakers back to life. ellenwoods5
