Can I convert a Polk PSW125 from 230V to 110V? I purchased a unit in India and wish to use it in USA. Is there a kit or list of components I may purchase to do this?

Not 100% sure, but I think you will have to have a step down transformer, because of the 60hz needed.
Maybe someone with more experience can chime in.

Did you look closely at the back of the subwoofer, on the amplifier?
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Thank you. yes I checked the rear of the PSW 125 and it indicates 230V 50/60Hz. since it's a DC device, the frequency won't matter.

The reason I asked is because I thought it was switchable on the rear in regards to country and voltage. Sorry. I double checked the manual and as you already know, it isn't.

Like Pepster stated previously, you need a step down transformer.

thank you anonymouse. I believe your suggestion to purchase a replacement plate amplifier that works and is outfitted for use in an 110V environment is the right approach. thank you!!
