I am not familiar with it but I think a new paint job needs to breath before you start sealing it.
I pretty much stick with Maguire's when I had show bikes.Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)

After reading up on it I would be inclined to talk to a local custom paint shop and see what they have to say.
I pretty much ignore anything a dealership is trying to sell as an up sale.Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)

It's a used car now. Go ahead and pour a half bag of M&Ms behind the back seat and spill a beer all over the front.
A $12 can of Meguire's will go a long way. IMO>

If it were a new paint job, you'd want to give it a good 3-4 weeks for it to cure.
The top layer/coat might feel hard but the paint underneath will remain soft and can be damaged easily.
Since it's a factory paint job, 'new paint' isn't an issue here. I've used Meguire's on all my bikes and cars and love it.Truck setup

Well not sure if I got suckered into this when I purchased my car, It goes in thursday for this glasscoat. it sounded good at the time with the warranty for the paint on the car (7 years on a new car) but now I'm second guessing my decision.
Reading on the net it seems to be a 50/50 on what people think about it.
I have a bad feeling this stuff is over hyped. oh well as long as it don't affect the finish in a bad way I guess it will be done since I payed for it.. -
I had bought the paint protection from Ziebart which was applied once a year. I personally was very satisfied with it. I never had to wax the car and it always had a nice sheen to it even after a year. I never had problems with bird droppings damaging the paint. This was for a used car that was 4 years old when I bought it. I hope this helps to ease your mind. Cheers.

It does help,

It comes with a clear coat, there's no need to put some other type of coating on that.Political Correctness'.........defined

Culled from their site,Forms permanent protection against, acid rain, tree sap, Bird waste, insects, road salt, hard water and spray paint
Provides outstanding long-term shine and protection
That's exactly what the clear coat from the factory does and why they started using clear coats in the first place.Political Correctness'.........defined

Got it on my BMW and had it done to my Escalade. Well worth the price of admission, though Japan maybe a little more in price. Keeps the paint looking outstanding. Once it's done my provider recomends a follow up after 3 yrs. Looks awesome though. Couple pics of it done with my ACS roof spoiler installed.

TFLF, Extra protection is good and the good thing is they can't throw back on you if there are problems with the paint in the future.Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)

Meguiar's gold class works great for me, they offered the same thing when I got the truck but I decided not to do it.
