I have the following:

Onkyo Tx-sr800
Onkyo DVcp701
CSI40 - Center
RTi38 - Front
PSW404

Should I continue the 6.5 inch woofer trend and go with another set of RTi38's for the rear and the FXi50 for surrounds. Or, should I go with the 5.25 inch woofer in the rears and surrounds with the RTi28 and the FXi30?

I would take FXi30, RTi28 - if your room is small. If it is large, FXi50, RTi38 or i28. IMO of course.

    I call FXi30, RTi28, or the FXi50, RTi28.

My room is 12.5 x 17.5. I chose FXi30's. I heard them both in house, and still chose the FXi30. Since your 7.1 capable, I would go with that model, IMO. Your rear center or rear surrounds will fill every inch of that room when completed. The FXi series, for side surrounds, will complement them the best. Just a suggestion.

My room is quite large, and the FXi30's and the RTi28's are doing just fine as far as filling the room with sound. Check out my showcase. (Grimsters World)

Grim - SVS is the crack cocaine of Subwoofers. Glad to see you are getting one.

What are you going to do with your PSW450's?

My HT room is 15x22, I use FXi30's for surrounds and RTi28's for the rears.
They sound great to me and my AVR has no problem driving them to reference level.
