Hey, Anyone here know much about the Thorens 126 MK 2??

I have bought a couple and have questions...

Also, one I got has a Shure V15 MK 3 cartridge, anyone know of this cartridge??

I think it sounds pretty good as purchased, just wondering:redface:

    The Thorens is a great table and the Shure V15 Mk3 is a really great cartridge. The thing to do that would make that combo really sing is to get a Shure V15 Type V but they are hard to get these days.

    Error, the cartridge is a V15 Type 3. I saw one of these cartridges go on Ebay for over $300.00. It was NOS though.

    The table that had this cartridge on it looks new. It came in the original packaging too. The dust cover has been cracked and glued back together though. I've been playing around with it a little, not a lot of time.

    I bought one here on the forum as a parts unit, mainly for the dust cover.....It got broken in shipment by FedEx:mad:. My first damaged shipment by them.
