Happy Mew Year MSB Stage-Pass CD Karma

It's simply one of my favorite albums of all time, probably because Michael Stanley is a hometown favorite, played softball with my buddies, and I was cutting class to be in the Agora Ballroom crowd on the first (October 22, 1976) of 3 days of recording this masterpiece.

MSB was huge in Northeast Ohio, popular in areas of the East and West Coasts and just a few points in-between, but never quite gained full traction. Michael is a talented, consummate showman, and perhaps only the 3rd or 4th-most talented member of the band, but this CD puts forth their very best efforts.

I wish I could Karma the LP version as the sound quality is better than this CD version (still good, though), but I only have one closely guarded vinyl LP set in pristine condition.

    I suspect a new MSB fan will shortly be born...
    I wish I could Karma the LP version as the sound quality is better than this CD version (still good, though), but I only have one closely guarded vinyl LP set in pristine condition.
    Ditto... pretty fine recording for its day... even moreso given that's it's Live.

    Got it last night, came home let it rip while I was changing from work. Sat down for a listen. So far I enjoyed the first 3 songs. This could turn out to be a wonderful relationship with a new band. Thanks IS!!
