311's new CD Evolver is in stores today. I've listened to some it. If you like 311 you'll like it. If you're not into them, you might like a couple of the songs on it.
So far my favorite song has been Gimme a Call. It'll probably change after listening to it a few more times...
If you're a fan definately worth the $9.99 at CC.

Thanks ****.
Huge 311 fan here. Have all of their CD's. The last one was lacking, but these guys are talented enough to pull through.
Thanks for the heads up. Forgot about the release.:) -
Have been listening to this CD for the past 24 hours. A very surprisingly good CD.
There are a few weak songs, but overall I would give it a 8/10. -
How is the recording quality?

I've really only listened to it in my car. I can't seem to take it out of my changer. I would say the sound quality overall is pretty good. It may throw you though, like on the first track when it starts you hear static mixed in with the music. THen the vocals start and it goes away, I'm assuming that is an effect they wanted...
I'm not sure how much bass it has, I don't have a good system in the car, but the highs are very clear. -
****,
I hear that too on creatures and I was thinking something was messed up. Interesting they would do that.
Sorry for the late response...moving...blah blah blah....any ways I think the recording is above average, if not good. I mean it does not grab you sound wise, but the CD is very solid.
Does that make sense? Ok good recording.....great album/cd.
