Why do tsi300 have more highs than tsi400?

Okay, polk and stereo newb here.
I was at bestbuy listening to their tower speakers and I couldn't tell much difference between the tsi300 and tsi400 but I did notice that the tsi300 seemed to have nicer highs. I know the tsi400 has one extra 5.25" woofer and maybe it just sounds to me like it has less highs, but it almost seemed like there was less trebel-highs on the tsi400 but the same mid and lower frequencies as the tsi300.
Anybody else notice this, or can explain this? I'm also going to have a subwoofer surrounds and center channel, but my question is just between these 2 speakers.

there are lots of reasons they might sound different, connected to different receivers that are SQ'd different, ect."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Sorry forgot to mention same amp, same player, same song, same room. I did not check if it was the same wiring, but i'm guessing so. -
What you perceive as more treble is likely due to the 400 being a better balanced speaker than the 300. That is, since the 300 has less bass, the treble stands out more.Political Correctness'.........defined

I've seen a lot of people experience this same thing. And I have, myself, in the old CC showrooms. F1nut is right, though. It's a bit of an illusion.
Once you get those TSI-300s home you'll see that they have LESS low end and brighter/thinner mids. I have a set of M70s (which are similar to TSI-500s) and a set of TSI-300s and when run off the same Denon 110 watt/channel receiver, there is no contest...the M70s put out a WALL of balanced sound where as the TSI-300s (which are a nice entry level speaker) sound THIN in comparison...even on the highs?
It's hard to hear the LOWS in a BB set up in a poor acoustic environment. The TSI-300s emphasize the very frequencies that do not DROP off in such an environment so they come across as the 'better speaker'. In other words, lots of upper mids and highs mostly.
