If you didn't like them, you could make a profit by parting them out. $50 is a good price IMO.

    5A's or early 5B's

$50 is about right if they are fully functioning and look decent.

    Yep.

You would be hard-pressed to find a better bookshelf for fifty bucks.

it's not uncommon to find mixed tweeters in the used vintage Polks
it may have been replaced at some point in its life

you should get a chance to listen to them
    then make a decision.

Where did the OP say they had mixed tweeters? And no listening is nec., mixed tweeters should be fixed ASAP and the purchase price should reflect that.

50$ isn't a bad price if they are in decent shape. That tweeter is a bit tinny though.

    I read " a sl1000 " taking that to mean " a single " tweeter.

$50 is a reasonable price for a used vintage speaker.

especially ... if you think they " sound not to bad "

    Good Luck on your decision
    and
    Happy New Year !

All of his descriptions were singular not plural, why pick on just the tweeter?

    a Polk sl1000 tweeter
    a 6.5 midwoffer
    8 inc passive
short grill with Polk logo on the front wood not the grill
