I have a chance to pick up a set of normal labs 10 Taking a look around on the web, it seems to get some good reviews. The speaker terminal look really cheap though for a speaker that was supposedly decent.

For the price I figure i would try them out. Anyone ever had a set? or heard one? I guess the top of the line was the model 9. The 10 has 2 10" woofers and i am not sure but looks to be 2 phillips tweeters.

Looking around there was 2 different ones the 10 and 10A the a had a poly woofer.

The totl model 9 speaker terminals were not so hot either!

Congrats on the find. I have been looking to score a set of Monitor 10s or 9s for quite a while.

Cheap? **** bells those were state of the art in the early 70's... Secure pinching of up to 18 ga wire...

Look forward to your impressions. Enjoy...

yeah, that time period was not known for the best terminals.

While I love my AR9's (circa 1979 or so), the binding posts suck!
