Ryan Adams need some suggestions

I want to purchase a couple of Ryan Adams CD's.
The man has such a large catalogue that I am not sure where to start.
Does he have any CD's that are more accoustic than electric?
Can someone please give me some guidance.

For mainly acoustic shoot for Heartbreaker followed by Gold.
Then look at his earlier stuff with Whiskeytown followed by some later work with the Cardinals on Cold Roses all steer towards Alt country but are pretty good. -
I picked up a used CD of Heartbreaker.

I found the Gold album on DVD Audio.
Another excellent release and it sounds amazing on DVDa.
I just picked up one of the Whiskeytown CD's as well.
I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet.
