I have a set of 2.3TLs that Ive had for years, and another set of 2Bs that ive had since the day I bought them brand new in 91.

:)

Im already planning to upgrade the tweeters to RDO-194's.

I do need two replacement drivers for the 2.3's, one driver on each side is not working (the mid drivers)

However, I _really_ wanna do the Xover upgrade, and im a total n00b with electronics.

Im looking for a really good master document on "what and how to do" this job.

Ive been many pages of threads back..and Ive seen a number of good photos, and such..but just looking for a recipe.

??

Thanks!

    The 2.3TL's use the RD0198-1.

All you do is replace the old components with new ones. I don't know what your soldering skills are like, but if you are new at it you should practice on some old electronics boards. A cold solder joint can be a real pia to figure out. Do one XO at a time so you have a reference. Also don not cut the legs on the XO components so if you need to move something a little bit you have not screwed yourself. Soldering isn't for everybody. Some people just can't pull off good joints. Like myself I can not do a good job of sheet rocking.
    Enjoy

Ya..I can grok the soldering, I was more concerned with the components choice of WHAT to replace on the boards.
