Very cool old radio

Granny brought me a Philco 38-3 radio (circa June 1937-38) from the ranch house in Oregon. She says it still works, though I've been apprehensive about plugging it in. It still has all of the original tubes, and old rubber insulated ac cord. The markings/stickers are all in tact inside the cabinet Very cool! The cabinet is a little abused, but not too bad, and the dial face needs cleaning as it is almost impossible to see thru. I'm going to try to clean it up (carefully).

Nice ! There is a lot of info and forums out there for vintage radios but do not let them know about your audio habits as they will shun you, quickly.
