Building a couple of subs..........

I would like to build a couple of sub/stands for my PSB Alpha's.
I am thinking about using an 8" in each sub/speaker stand.
Heres where the confusion starts:
I'm thinking bandpass without a crossover!
There, I said it, and I feel better!
Please leave the room, if you feel uncomfortable.

Seriously, I would like to pick up some punch/dynamics in the 120hz & below/region to compliment the Alpha's.
I think it would look pretty good with some Totem like "Beaks", or outriggers.
Alittle wider than the Alpha's
Points comming out of the top of the sub/stand for the Alpha's to rest maybe?
Yet another perk, UNDER $100 FOR 2 (no x-over:biggrin:!!!!).
BAM! Up another notch!

Keep in mind the small dimensions of the boxes in the link below.
I would be running both subs, and Alphas off a Rotel 960bx.
60 watts (per) dual mono, with separate power supplies.
It'll run 4 ohms easy, and tested in Stereophile @ over 200watts into 2 ohms comfortably.
I would run the sub/speaker stands in parallel with the Alpha's (gaining some power).
Just worried about it not being "fast enough" for the Alpha's

Here is what I am looking at, please comment on the perimeters and look for any possible problems.
4.8 ohm.
Keep in mind no inductors, or caps to buy to achieve a steeper slope.

I should mention they are Alpha B1's that I bought brand new, and have maybe 200 hours on them.
Running the Rotel with a B&K Ref 20 pre (sub preouts if I decide to go powered).
