    Those caught my eye as they're just across town from me, but the difference in serial numbers is troubling.

    Do all of the 3.1TL's have passive radiators like that? I'd never noticed...I guess I always assumed they were the flat PR's like other SDA's. Those appear to be very similar to the Monitor 12 PR's.

    you are coorect, those are the samePR's.....I had a pair of these for a little bit, they sounded great. I would love to own a set again and get thewm upgraded. This price is WAY to high though. you are better off getting 2.3TL for that range.

    I'd love to have a pair of those, but that is way too rich for my blood.
    My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

    these passives had me wondering, too, since they look more like what I expect an active speaker to look like. is the 3.1 the only SDA to mount this kind of passive? I thought I'd always seen flat passives in SDA 1's, 2's, 2.3's and 1.2's.
