I have been a Polk audio owner since 1994! My first pair were the RM-3000 sub/sat. then I bought the LS FX surrounds. They still work to this day, but alas the right speaker seal for the cone finally fell apart. They have served me well! I just bought the new Rti A7 and out of the box they look and sound great! they gave me goose bumps playing the very first song!!

Hey svx9494, glad you like the new Rti A7's - goose bumps are good:wink:. I got my LS FX around 1990, but they still look new. When you say speaker seal, are you talking about the material (gasket) that goes between the baffle and the driver? If so, these are easily replaced. The folks on this forum either use mortite (look it up, there is a lot of info on this) or the speaker gasket material from Parts-express.com.
SDA SRS modded: X’ovrd, de-polyed, inductorized, interconnectorized, re-posted, dynamited, RDO’d, spiked, gasketed, ringed (Larry's), and grill cloth blinged! Done this on my own? Not a chance. Thanks to Raife and all who forged easy to follow upgrades. At least a 100% improvement in sound and my personal listening pleasure! :cheesygrin:Pass XP-10 preamp, Parasound A21 amp, Pioneer Elite DV-58AV (Ric Shultz modded), Audioquest Sky IC's, No longer need my Sunfire sub after mods...
