How do you check speaker seal on SDAII's, and if it's bad what is the most common problem and how do you fix it?

Push the PR in and hold. The mid-drivers should slowly recede after a few seconds. They will fully reseat after you let the pressure off the PR.

Are there any cracks in the cabinets (ie. the seams)? If so, they need to be sealed.
A favorite fix around here is; using Moretite as a gasket instead of the foam around the drivers.
If you tighten the screws, just be careful not to over tighten. Otherwise, you may strip the holes. There are fixes for that too.Stan

I pushed the PR in and the drivers popped out and returned to a relaxed position as soon as I took my hand away, if the cabinet is sealing they should stay out a few seconds, correct?
The cabinets are in excellent condition. Do you think it's the foam gaskets around the drivers? -
