Peerles replacing SL2000 in Monitor 7c?

Hi, being new to the forum I had my home work done (searching archives) before posting this question but could not get straight answer. I just got a pair of mint monitors 7C but I can not stand, by any means, sound of sl2000. I tried them on Sansui AU-7900 (acceptable) and Marantz 2252B (unbearable).
So, knowing all the differences between 5 "stock" tweeters used in Polk`s over the years I am wondering if I can replace sl2000 with Peerles ? I do not mind doing some woodwork, it is more concerning crossover modifications - will Pearless fit in or I have to adjust XO?
I have a chance to get a pair of Peerles for around 100$ and this is a bit on the top, but RDO-194 is even more expensive here in Canada - goes through dealer which does not seems to care about 20% off for CP membership so the total for pair is 160$!! Any advice highly appreciated.
BTW, I killed my self trying to find the way to post new question/thread and ended up here. I simply do not see the option except in testing area - something blocked on my "account" or just my "blind" day?

Take a look at the schematics available here.
It appears that the original 7 and the one with the sl200 have the same components.
Double check me but it looks to be possible.Sounds good to me... -
