    Also of note....

    I had a stash of early-60's large halo which = Bugle Boys. However, some of you will find remnants of Bugle Boy logos on the small halo mid-60s tubes. I'm not sure what the criteria was, but I have always suspected the Bugle Boy was simply a marketing theme geared towards the home user or for tubes not re-labeled and resold (e.g. Beckman, Electrohome, Hewlett-Packard, etc.) Anyway, if you want to read more, AA probably has some descriptions of sonics.
