    For those that use a single 12AX7............that RCA is a very sweet tube. I bought a pair and used them for awhile and liked them so much I bought a 2nd pair for back up. One of it's strengths is it's creamy smooth midrange and huge soundstage.

    Nah, I'm looking specifically for Telefunken long plate 5965's. They are rare in the US. Thanks though

    I passed on them this time around. They are very rare but they come up for sale on EBay a few times a year. In hindsight I just should have pulled the trigger but my NY resolution was to slow down on tube buying:tongue:
