And the high today is 81*

Took the motorcycle to work this morning with my summer mesh jacket on.

I love our weather:biggrin:

In decree that you are denied being able to sing, "I'm dreaming of a White Christmas", for as long as you live in TX. We put up with the snow up here. It's our song. Stay away.

To each their own, but I love living in a place where we have four distinct seasons. Variety is the spice of life.

Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall....wouldn't have it any other way. Its great to visit warm places when its colder than a witches **** in January, but even that gets old after a while.

I agree with Demi. I get annoyed wit the snow from time to time but I still love the seasons and the diversity. You can't appreciate the good weather without the bad.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Sure you can. And with less bad weather, you can appreciate more good weather days:wink:

You guys can have your diversity. I'll take my sunny days and year-round riding time.

Do they have places where you can go to like an ATV ranch and rent snowmobiles and stuff up north? That'd be pretty sweet.

You bet they do. More so in NH/VT/ME than Mass but i know of a couple places. There are literally thousands of miles throughout NH that stretch up to Canada to ride on.

That's cool. I had a friend that went to school in Illinois and they didn't have any places near by that actually rented them out.

Seems about the only way I'd want to deal with snow every year is if there was an ATV ranch or a ski slope with 45 minutes.

What better reason to break out the blackberry brandy/beer and freeze your **** off for 6 hours only to get a 2lb bass and 14" pickerel.

I'm not a big fisherman as it is. If I have to sit around on ice while its freezing cold as it is...and then chisel a hole in ice...eff that!

We got 4 inches of snow yesterday, and it's I dont even know how cold outside. Cold enough to where it doesn't really matter.

Well, we're in the great white North. But there ain't no real snow yet? Probably get a few measly inches tomorrow to Wed. So there's your white X-mas. And then, of course, it won't melt till late April? It never melts.

I'm pretty sure a couple of you above are around 30 or so...add another 20+ some winters and you might envy e512 as I do. ..I tire of all the SALT that comes into my house, collects on my shoes and rusts out all of my vehicles in record time; the ice and snow and plows that crack my 3500 sq ft. of paved driveway every few years. The dryness from the heat in my house that terrorizes my skin and sinuses most of the winter, and the fact that the city plows always arrive right after my plow guy clears the driveway and block my entry ONCE more so that the old boy has to don his boots and shovel, shovel, and shovel again and again and once more.

I'm tired already and the snow hasn't even come. But once it does it's here for GOOD. And I'm just getting too old for that.

Snow is for the young-er? My daughter loves it..and I 'used' to as well; once upon a time.
