I'm looking for new surround rear speakers; I’m using Polk Tsi 100 right now in 5.1 mode. But seeing how my AVR is a 7.1. I thought it was a good excuse to get a couple of more speakers. So I’m down to the Polk A-4 on sale for $400.00 or Klipsch S-20 on sale for $229.00 if it was about cash it’s a no brainer.
The rest of my speakers are Polk and I read lots about timbre on this forum and I know the rears are not as crucial as the fronts so are the Klipsch a good choice or should I stick with Polk?

Timber won't matter for rears. Klipsch are usually horn loaded however, so they'll be very forward, from behind....teeheehee

nguyen is correct that timbre matching is less important for rears, I really think those Klipsch are going to stand out like a sore thumb in that set up.
