Mix and match floor standing speakers

Welcome, brand new here!! I have had the R50 floor standing speakers for quite some time now. Really do love them. Not to long ago, I toasted one of them, tweeter is shot(no sound), other two speakers sound muted. Replaced the wiring harness to no avail. Could I add in a tsi300, would this be optimal, any problems, etc? Thanks

    Welcome to the club.

If you want to replace them with TSI300 that's fine. But if the tweeter is toast, either replace it or get rid of it.

Could I use an r50 as a left channel and a tsi300 as a right channel or vice versa simulatenously, or do I have to use both of the same speaker? Would it sound allright? Thanks.
