hey guys

i am a newbie to this fourm, but not to audio. i was a previous employee of circuit city, and i just bought these before i quit. they sound 10x better in my home then they did in the store, and i am not using the "top of the line $1,500 onkyo reciever" either. in fact i am using this POS kenwood... yeah i know it has to go, all in due time. but i just wanted to share my enjoyment with everyone even know everyone probably already knows polk kicks ****. well, thats all! :)

oh yeah, i also wanted to say that i am amazed at hom much bass they put out... i mean it is almost as much as my 12" dcm floorstanding speakers put out! granted it is not as deep as my old ones, but it is still just awsome. ok, thats all... again... promise. :)

Yes, I do. i plan on spending another 600-700 dollars on an onkyo tsxr700, new polk center and rear channel speakers. i am not sure which ones to get as of right now. but i get everything at cost. :) i got both my rti100's for the price of one. *cough* and bought a big screen. *cough* lol. depending on where you live i may consider it.

    Yes, again, welcome.

A few months ago I was just as new as you, well, probably much much newer. I am sure you are coming in with a lot more knowledge than I did. Anyways, you are right, that this is a nice place. I am sure many of us are hoping you continue to post here. I know I have had many positive experiences in the few months I have spent posting here.

    Congratulations on your purchases.

if you guys dogg Circuit City then this is the place for me! but i am kind of curious what other think of CC... i mean i could tell you a million storys about that place that none of you know, but i want to know why you guys do not like it. i am so glad i quit that place... by far the worst job i had.

by the way, i live in Cranston, Rhode Island. hopefully moving soon since i just got hired at a law firm and i am making quite a bit more money then i use to.

    HBombtoo:

what is your Twin imatation? and by bi-wire you mean use the gold connectors to connect the top and bottom ports correct? thanks.

It means no beer today, "my liver is on vacation", but I'm being sarcastic on the bi-wire thing. Do a search and you'll see whats up. Its a great topic to start a massive debate which is always fun around here! Especially on a Sunday evening when all is well with the world and you don't want to go too work in the AM!
