Technics SL-1400 - In original box w/original packing, fitted with some kind of Audio-Technica cart. $200
Micro-Seiki DD-35 - Very nice w/wooden base/fascia and fitted with an Andante "E" cart. $150
Pioneer PL600 - Needs "cosmetic" work, almost functioning perfectly. Dust cover cracked, little locking device on tonearm rest tower snapped in two. I have the piece that snapped. There is a small amount of tarnish on a couple of the actuator buttons. Those are the "cosmetic" issues. The table is nice and there are no scratches on the metal fascia. Electronic arm lifting/lowering function seems to be inop. Manual lifting/lowering is recommended. It is fitted with an Audio-Technica cart whose stylus is hopelessly bent. $150
Technics SL-5100 - Very nice rock solid direct/drive table, no cartridge (standard mount). I have cartridges which we can negotiate over, or install your own. $100
Technics SL-QD33 - Another very nice operating and looking direct/drive table, it needs a P-mount cart and I have none. $75
Micro-Seiki DD-35 - Very nice w/wooden base/fascia and fitted with an Andante "E" cart. $150

George/prospective buyers,
I have a semi-functioning PL600 that has about any parts (except the tonearm locking thing which suffers the same problem as you describe) needed. Un-cracked dustcover, Shure V15 Mk? with NO stylus, etc. If you (or anyone who buys yours) wants, I'll gladly donate any pieces/parts necessary. I keep tripping over the damned thing, and it's destined for the curb. -
That Micro Seiki would be a nice starter table for someone. Despite their relative obscurity, just about everything they ever made was best in class. For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

Dang it George why do you have to live so far away. This would seem like a nice way jump in and start taking advantage of all that vinyl you sell. -

Because I went to Little Rock overnight once near Christmas time, and just about froze my nuts off the whole time I was there. -
Next time you should try coming in August that way you can steam them off.
