I swapped my 1366x768 screen with a 1920x1080 yesterday. If you are thinking of getting a laptop this size with this screen res, make sure you have good eyes or get in the mode of magnifying text. I knew it would be small, but jeez, I can nearly fit two full size forum windows side by side!

The screen is sharp as hell, but I have come to the conclusion that this is probably a bit much for a 15.6 inch screen... probably shoulda known that before hand (141px/inch ) but I had to give it a try.

LCD panels always look messed up at non-native resolution. Besides, the resolution is great for photo editing, ect. Best bet is to scale the text.... just a pain sometimes, especially if you have programs that don't support scaling.

To each their own I guess....I've never really had problems with the screens showing as normal unless I go too wide where things look stretched, which I don't keep it as......

Movies will be better though.....if you have a BRP

Well, if you never notice a difference, put two panels side by side... set display one at native resolution, then set display two (a higher resolution panel, but the same aspect ratio) at the same resolution as display one. Display two will be fuzzy and nasty looking compared to display one. If it's not... well... I've never seen that happen (and I don't know if anyone has :P)

Some screens handle certain resolutions better than others. My 24" likes the native resolution of 1920x1200 and one other resolution that I can't recall off hand, every other resolution blurs the text just a little, and this isn't a cheap monitor either.
