This 5m glass Toslink cable was made by Amphenol for their consumer division. It's the best optical cable I've ever used, except it is not too short for me. Amphenol just discontinued this cable because of lack of interest, which is a total shame as it is an industrial quality product that's good enough to contend with any boutique Toslink cable.

The Amphenol Ultra Series Optical Glass TOSLINK Cable was developed to meet the stringent demands of A/V purists at a competitive price. The fiber optic core of this cable utilizes 280 individual strands of glass as opposed to a molded plastic for increased flexibility. Each TOSLINK connector is assembled with mirror-polished glass fiber reinforced PBT and a 24K Gold plated tip for reduced error rate and improved fidelity. 7mm cable diameter with an attractive black nylon jacket for added protection from damage and wear. Compatible with all TOSLINK (S/PDIF) equipped devices including DTS / Dolby Digital surround sound receivers, CD, DVD, HD-DVD, and Blu-ray Disc players, game consoles, and set-top boxes.     This is a great cable. I have the same model but no longer use optical because mine is too short.

    Correct. The length is 5m and the diameter is 7mm.

    This is NOT the link for the glass cable with the carbon weave jacket. This is for the plastic cable with std pvc jacket. And not the same cable Zingo is selling, his is nicer just like one I have. I was going to order another long one but they only have 5M left in stock which is way toooooo long.
