OK, we all see them. Commercials with catchy tunes but you have no clue (or maybe you do) who the hell sings it! Well, here's your chance! If you know what music is being played in a commercial, post it here. If you don't know and you want to know, ask here!

One that's hit the airwaves again lately is the Blue Moon commercial where the artist dude paints a beer on the sheet of paper. Well, the song is from a movie called "A Relationship In Four Days". The band is The Parson Red Heads and the song is called "Punctual As Usual"

    This one is a Geico commercial. There is one of the cavemen on the moving walkway in an airport. As he's riding the walkway, he notices a Geico poster that is disparaging to cavemen and gets frustrated.

    The song playing in the background seems to be a favorite of many people. It's by a Norwegian techno group called Röyksopp. It's off their album "Melody A.M." and the song is called "Remind Me".

    Don't even know what commercial you're talking about. Norelco has a long history of holiday commercials so it' hard to narrow down without more detailed info.

    There was a VW commercial several years ago that had a song which I was never able to locate. It was a band and not an individual artist I was told, but nobody could tell me the name of the band and thus, I never was able to purchase it. Periodically I have searched the interwebs to no avail. Commercials have turned me on to some stuff I would never have heard otherwise.

    If I recall, it was a Jetta commercial and the theme was neighborhood happy happy , joy joy kinda thing with cars backing out of a suburban setting garage and the POV of leaving the neighborhood. The music was rather surreal and has haunted me.
    I wish I could tell you more, the time was maybe 1999-2001 ish.

    I can't find that commercial anywhere. Are you sure it was a VW commercial?



    The only other one I can think of it being is the VW Master Plan "Run With A Smaller Crowd" commercial for the Jetta. But that was produced for the commercial explicitly and isn't any particular published artist. But I can't find that commercial anywhere.

    Yes I am certain it was a VW commercial. For the life of me, I have never been able to find it either. Youtube has been no help. Neither have the various lists out there on the web ever helped me turn it up. Thanks for looking though!

    I'm betting it's the Master Plan one because I remember that commercial. Everyone was driving like tan Camrys or something and the one dude had like a red Jetta. He was supposed to be "apart from the crowd". I don't remember the music but I remember the tag line "Run with a smaller crowd" and I thought it was pretentious and playing to the egos of those who feel they need to be different from others to an extreme just to identify themselves. I found it sad.
