What digital cable are you guys using & what are the qualities you like about it. Which ones have you used & what made you choose the current one you're using. I'm currently using a Creative Cable Concepts "Green Hornet". I like the cable a lot but I'm just itching to try another one between my DAC & source.

In the inexpensive category, I really like the nuetrality of Blue Jeans Belden 1694A. Excellent cable, at any price.

I also like and use DH Labs D-75.

The DH Labs adds just a touch more sweetness to the "tell-it-like-it-is" Belden. Seriously, the belden is a seriously underrated cable, that performs like crazy. $23 bucks!

Sometimes I think the Belden is better than the DH Labs....at any rate, it's splitting hairs.

I have tried a few but the Kimber Kable D-60 is by far the best I have heard. There is one here on the flea market for sell.

Get your read on and you might be surprised what a great cable it is.

I was using the Omega-Mikro Zephyr, but recently upgraded to the MIT Magnum. Both are great, and offer clearer more detailed sound than the stock Wadia iTransport cable. However, the MIT digital is just like their analog cables. The soundstage literally expanded, and became more precise, with the MIT.

You're right, the D-60 was an awesome cable until Chris Sommovigo outdid himself with his newer design...the i2Digital X-60 & the Stereovox reference XV-Ultra.

Is wireless streaming digital? Then no cable here.

    How cool is that.

No, how do you get the analog from the streamer to your pre-amp? Magic smoke

I use Auricle Audio Signature digital in 2 of my systems.
They are the best buy in audio IMHO.
I have a MITerminator 2 in a third system that sounds really good.
I would like to try a Zen MC2 but cannot see spending that much on 1 cable.
I also keep an Apogee Wyed eye, and Canare just in case.

All Monoprice Premium for Digital. I know I am cheap. But hey, it's Digital, u know?

Unless it's for Analog rig, I don't want to spend more than 5 bucks for the digital cables.

Cardas lightning. Great digital cable. Since moved to the MIT Magnum because of the wonderful experience I have had with MIT's ICs and speaker cable. Once again, extremely happy with another MIT acquisition.

I just ordered a Black Cat Veloce digital cable from The Cable Company. I'll be doing an A/B with my Creative Cable Concepts "Green Hornet".

The Black Cat Company is a subdivision of Stereolab cables. The design is still done by Chris Sommovigo. This should be interesting. Chris is well known for his digital cable innovations starting when Kimber asked him to design a digital cable for them back in the 90's. I believe the cable is still in production from Kimber. He has updated his design over the years & the Veloce is one of his newest.

For all my digital connections I use Blue Jeans and am VERY pleased with them. Not too long ago I swapped the one from my CDP to AVR and used a AQ VSB-1 cable. After some time of careful listening cable I couldn't tell the difference. With that I moved back to the Blue Jeans cable.

Excellent people to deal with too.

The Belden 1694A (ref above) is a very good cable, and yes, the cheesey orange jackets can be removed. I decided to try it when I noted that this is the cable Benchmark recommends and sells for the DAC1 variants.
