CL ad, the guy said he would take $50. Something to incorporate into my office gear. Thoughts?

I'd do it. No risk there. It's a decent quality sub for $50. If it's too slow to be properly integrated in your office rig, sell it and get your money back.

All the Mirage subs that i've heard were really quick and musical, though, i wouldn't expect this one to be any different, though it is bigger than the ones i've had/heard.
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

If it's too slow, try to snag a used Mirage Omni S8. One of the fastest subs i've ever heard. I miss mine.

I've owned several, liked them all, agree that they are generally quick and tight. However, the Omni s-12 was my least favorite (and it was the only 12 incher I owned), because I felt that it wasn't quite as quick and tight. but it was still really good, and great for HT.

I certainly wasn't saying don't get it. For 50 bucks I say jump on it! I think that it will sound really good in an office setup especially considering the typical volume levels in an office setting. Plus, if you think it sounds a little slow or hard to blend (which I don't think it will) you can always plug the port since you don't need it to go nearly as deep for a music rig.
