TC265i's (Rt/Lt) and LCi-C......bad combo??

Hello. I recently purchased two TC265i's for my mains and a LCi-C for my center. I got a really good deal on both and was told the timbre mis-matching would not create a noticable difference. I would hate not to use the LCi-C as center, but also can not afford the LCi's for my left and rights.

Do you guys have any comments one way or the other? If a bad idea, would three TC265i's work for the front set up?? Sound good?

I plan on using a Onyko NR 708 or Pioneer VSX-1120K to run speakers.

Thanks again for the needed advice and help on other post!!

That would be my suggestion and choice.....all TC series. I wouldn't lose sleep over it if you keep the LCi-C....the timbre match would be the least of my worries.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

The only problem I see is that the lci center is a 4 ohm speaker and the receivers you are thinking about don't do well with 4 0hm speakers. You could run it, but it might sound a bit shallow due to lack of power driving it.

Personally, I would match the front 3 speakers, but thats just me.

I would like to use the TC265i as a center, but i think i may have a problem laying it horizontal in the wall cavity. Might go with the CSi A6, which i believe is voice matched to the TC series. Trying to figure out if the the A4 might do as well as the A6 for my room (20'x10')

Let me know fellas how u feel about this.
