So question about timbre, I pick up my LSIC a while ago without doing any research (I know dumb) the rest of my system consist of monitor 70 fronts, tsi100 rears and a Kef sub. So now after the fact I’ve read that it not a good match but the CS2 was A good match but they don't make then any more so the next cloest is the CS20 and I could be wrong about that. But after a few weeks tweaking the system it sounds great. I’ve been to some of my buddies and a few audio stores and I feel that these other systems don’t sound any better and some worse than mine and of course it may because I’m acclimatize to mine. So do anyone think the difference is huge? As I thinking of picking up a CS20 for a demo but seeing how the LSIC is the top of the line speaker how can it not sound better?

It's not that it doesn't sound better it is about timber matching.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Yes I've read that, I think I will just do the demo and see how it goes.

OK- So I done the demo and decided to go with the CS20, the LSIC is a fantastic speaker (if I had the cash to spare I would go with all LSI gear) and I didn’t think the timbre match was such a big deal.
But after switching back and forth between the two, I soon realized that it did in fact make a huge difference. The action flows smoothly across the soundstage as you guys said it would in all the forums I’ve read. I just didn’t think it would make that much of a difference.
Thanks and have a nice Christmas
