Missing Power cord to Ac/Dc Adapter

I just purchased as used Polk Audio Soundbar (model SDA) and it is missing the power cord to the Switching adaptor (part RE-1807-1). The output is 24 V and 2.7 Amps. Can I just go down to my loal radio shack and purchase any cord that will fit the connection or do I need to match the specs on the adapter? Also is there a place on line that I can just purchase the cord?

Well, the manual doesn't state whether the power adapter is two pieces (brick+cord or all one piece).

If it's the 'brick' (laptops use it too) that you're missing, then match the specs. Make sure you get one with the right polarity -

If it's just the cord that connects from the brick to the wall, any will do. Just make sure you get the one with the proper female end on it.

    Btw, welcome to CP!

Were you able to find a power adapter for this? I'm on the same boat... not sure if I should just order a universal adapter, or order from polk.. I emailed polk, but they still haven't gotten back to me.

Let me know what you ended up doing, Loyd.

    Thanks!
