I called customer service for warranty repair and was told to ship to:

Polk Audio
1 Viper Way
Vista, CA 92081

But I searched google for this address and it's showing the facility is "for sale"

http://www.loopnet.com/Listing/16850038/1-Viper-Way-Vista-CA/

what does it mean, anybody here can confirm if the address above is still valid?

thanks,

So, you were given the address by Polk and for some really strange reason you Google it and find out the building is for sale. So what? Companies buy and sell their buildings all the time. Maybe they need a bigger building.....maybe they need a smaller one....doesn't matter as they told you were to ship it. If they move between today and tomorrow they will have a forwarding address. I fail to see your concern.

The owner is selling the building, DEI leases it, if you read on, they have 6 years left on the lease.

    interesting url.

cut some of the sentences out.....

This single tenant warehouse and office building is fully leased on a NNN basis to DEI Holdings.

There are six years remaining on the original term of the lease. DEI Holdings, Inc. has been in business for over 28 years and employs about 200 people at this location.

you do know that DEI is the parent company of POLK

Looks like you would have little concerns sending your gear there

buy the insurance from the carrier that you are using to cover in transit.

It's a valid address for shipping anything for repair. That's the official corporate answer.

Dude, relax... I'm asking a very simple question. What's so strange in googling an address? If you fail to see my concern then don't bother replying, what's the point of your reply anyway?

I was fairly confident that the point of my post would allude you, but thought it might be worth a try. Sadly, it seems that my effort was a waste after all. Good luck in life, dude.
