shipping a Denon DP-1200

Hi everyone!
I am a newbie on this site and in need of help. I need to ship a Denon DP-1200 and all the links I have found for instructions on how to, are broken. I am sadly not an audiophile so if you can be specific with terminology I would greatly appreciate it. One of my concerns is the cover and how to remove it. Also the platter and the tone arm and counterweight...I visual instruction would be wonderful but anything would help really. I really want this tt to arrive safely and for the buyer to be satisfied with his purchase and not write to this board to complain about the bad packaging
