Anyone watching Thursday Night Football?

The Colts defense is just plain awful, absolutely miserable play on defense. The Titans come into the game with 30+ consecutive drives without a TD, they have 3 already tonight...

Also, I HATE their online coverage. I don't get the NFL Network, so I have to watch it online and the coverage is just terrible.

Football is great, NFL network sucks. Some of the worst broadcasting I've heard."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

I feel it's a rip-off to the American public what they did with this NFL network.
You support them all these years and then they say, pay us more, if you want to watch this perticular game. Don't they make enough? And why can't the stadiums give these anouncers a heated booth? Just like these cable companies. You get a deal to sign up, and then when you become a loyal customer, they want to raise the fees to an elevated state. You pay more as time goes by instead of getting the discount after you've been established as an asset to their profitability .Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -

Preach it Tony! It's bad enough MNF is on ESPN now (so those without cable can't watch), but the NFL network is ridiculous. Seriously, what else would you get out of that channel besides 1/2 a season of Thursday games and re-runs of Super Bowls from years gone by??
Definitely not enough motivation for me to pay more just for that channel...2007 Club Polk Football Pool Champ

It's a business, and a very big and profitable one. No large business is going to say "meh, they've given us enough", they're going to try and get more revenue until they can't anymore. The only way things like this NFL Network nonsense are going to stop is if their numbers drop enough that they'd make more money from regular networks.
The only real argument against the cable games is that the home viewers technically pay a large part of the cost of the stadiums, and as such should be afforded the right to at least see these games on TV. But that doesn't really hold water because all of the cable games (ESPN, NFLN) are broadcast on network TV in their home markets.
Not saying you don't have a right to be annoyed, just that the righteous indignation of "we've given them enough" is silly. If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -
