Hey everybody im new here, this is what im working with. I recently started upgrading my old onkyo HTIB piece by piece and now im stuck, I now have a pioneer vsx-820-k receiver, two polk monitor 50 towers, a polk psw10 sub, and a klipsch c1 center. first off I need some surrounds obviously, and I am leaning towards the m30 or m40, only reason I dont want the 40s for sure is because I have heard you cant really mount them and I have two young kids, that wont fly. and also should I switch my center to a polk center? I bought the center channel a while ago because I got a great deal and was planning on an all klipsch system but have since changed my mind. and if I should change what polk center I should go with. Also what size wire should I be running to all of these speakers, right now I have 16 gauge but I know I should go larger. Thanks for any help you can give me guys. oh and if it matters my tv is a 46" Panasonic 1080p G10 and obviously im budget minded so nothing crazy expensive

CS2 Center Channel (newegg) for $99 for the Cherry finish. Get the 30's for now. Later if you can migrate the 50's to surround duty and continue the upgrade path with better l/r. That klipsh isn't going to timbre match the 50's.

You can get 12awg speaker cable from Monoprice. A 50' spool is ~14, 100' is ~$26.

Save up your pennies and buy this years model of AVR's for half price when next years are released. This will happen late spring to early summer for Denon, not sure about other manufacturers. If you watch you can get some good deals.
