Yep, the MW6510 makes those 2A's. Looks like they're in really great shape in any case.

    2B's use 6503 and 6511 MW's and I think they all had pin/blade cables.

    2B's use 6503 and 6511 MW's and I think they all had pin/blade cables.

I believe most 2B's used a 6510 on the inside for the stereo signal and a 6511 on the outside as the dimensional driver.

If it had BOTH as 6510 it was a 2A. Seller would have to pull outer driver to be sure (unless of course someone replace a driver with the wrong one).

Polk was moving through mid-model revisions at a fast pace at that time so you may have something different. Maybe the 6503 was used in the very latest run.

2B's were also produced in both blade/blade (earlier) and pin/blade (later).

If the receipt in the image says "2B" (and I think it does), I'm guessing those are 2B's, especially if the crossover uses the pin/blade Interconnect Cable.

When I bought mine brand new on the last day of '87, they came with a 2A manual plus an "Addendum To The Instruction Manual" from Polk with the 2B information within. Mine are the 80 lb Walnut Veneer top and bottom and were late '87 by serial number, but still had blade/blade and the 6510/6511 combo.

I've dug deeper and the 6503 stereo / 6511 dimensional combo was the "1989" 2B version and it used the SW121 12" passive radiator.

    The "1987" 2B version used 6510 stereo / 6511 dimensional combo and the SW120 12" passive radiator.

Additionally, according to my Addendum to the manual, there were some 1987 2A's that used the 6510/6511/SW120 combination.
