San Diego's PBS station is showing a studio session (taped 1983) w/ Stevie Ray Vaughn and Albert King jamming the blues.

Way cool!

H9: If you don't trust what you are hearing, then maybe you need to be less invested in a hobby which all the pleasure comes from listening to music.

I saw this DVD at my local music shop. I was tempted to buy it but felt the $20 price tag too steep. After reading the reviews on Amazon I need to go pick it up. It seems like the biggest complaint was from guys who owned it on VHS saying they omitted a few songs. RIP - SRV hard to believe its been twenty years.

nap, you won't be dissapointed! The 'Live from Austin, Texas' is probably my favorite though. Voodoo Chile gives me goosebumps every time.

I know, I know, I am a loser. i went back to pick it up today and it was gone. The redeeming thing was that they had a sale on Beatle's coffee mugs with the album covers on them (4 for 10 bucks). So I got some stocking stuffers for my Beatle compadres.

HD Tracks has an excellent recording of SRV and Al King jamming out when SRV was very young.
