Trusted Online sellers??

Looking into buying a new Pioneer Elite SC-37 and wondering if anyone had any experiences from buying one of these online? I have found a couple different sites that are great prices but being the Elite series noone is authorized as online authorized elite dealers.
I had looked at camerakings.com because of the lowest price, but they only offer a 1 year warranty and sounds like they try to get $$$ out of you any way they can.

Contacted soundpros.net and had a response back from them in a couple hours. He said they back the factory warranty 100% with full factory service for the full 2 years and defective exchanges for 60 days. He lowered the price $100 from what was listed on their site but still $200 more than the lowest I have found.

Last site is an ebay seller, unitedonlineshopping. Sounds like all the reviews that people have given them are positive and they offer a 2 year warranty as well. I have not tried to contact them yet but may.

Any thoughts or ideas on these sites or others?? Any help would be great!

I ordered my Energy sub from Soundpros, fast delivery, and much less than I could find it elsewhere. Found out they were not an authorised dealer like they claimed, but Energy took care of a small issue I had anyways.

They are not listed as an authorised online dealer on Pioneer's site either, in fact no one is for Elie products. From Pioneer's siet:
Pioneer does NOT authorize any dealers to sell Elite-branded products on the Internet (only in-store sales are permitted). Therefore, any Elite-branded product purchased on the Internet is NOT authorized, which means that it does NOT carry the manufacturer's limited warranty and does not qualify for any manufacturer's rebate.

You can trust me....come on, I'm just parked behind the store here and ran outta gas man, seriously....super deal for you.

Polknewby - Do the due dilligence, research on the product and seller and go with your gut. There are some that are simply not going to have all the safety nets you'd like. Take heed from these guys, eat up another week and watch things happen, then make a decision. The lowest price isn't always the best choice. You're doing ALL the right things right now....don't get overwhelmed. A WOOT.com might just drop in your lap in between then.

I'm looking for that Roomba style wetvac thing, starts with an M and BB&B has it but out of stock....ugh and I have a 20% coupon. My wife wants it but I gtg on the in stock email list now.

I feel your pain and I just slapped a stranger but apologized. I'm a fast runner for the few hundred feet it too his beet to fall out of his eco-bag.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Check with HIFI Heaven in Green Bay Wisconsin. They ship and they're an authorized dealer. Bought an elite sc 07 and sc-27 from them for around half off msrp. Don't know if they have the sc-37's in stock but it's worth a call.

This is 1of3 of their Videogon user names. Just shoot them a email and ask about the 37.

I purchased my SC-27 from Value Electronics http://www.valueelectronics.com/ It was suggested that I talk to Robert but I never got a chance (didn't have a lot of technical questions just price) instead talked to Wendy who talked me into a SC-27 and a BDP and I was lucky because I was almost talked into a Kuro as well. You might want to give them a call and see what they would do on a SC-37.

Thanks for the help. I emailed the ebay store and they said they would honor the 2 year MW - if any problem arises ship it back to them for a return. They also dropped the price from 1450 down to $1385 (included shipping, double boxed, and fully insured). They have a 100% customer satisfaction and responded back to my email within 20-30 minutes.
I am going to send HiFi heaven an email and see if they have any in stock and will look into valueeltronics as well.

    Thanks for all the help!

If you want to get a better feel for an online retailer, do a google search of the site/ company name.
I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!

Valuerlectronics saud $1600 and $25 shipping and just got off the phone with hifi heaven and said they stopped selling the elites and are doing more onkyo now. Gonna check with my local best buy and see their beat price. Leaning on the eBay store right based on price, warranty, and customer ratings- also one of bays selected top seller or whatever they call it..?? I know I don't need this receiver or won't use all it offers but looking down the road and think the price might be too hard to pass on.

I don't think BB will match-offer e-retailers - they only match local electronic stores. I think that's what you were meaning when you said checking BB to "see their beat price."

If you got the patience, you can always wait until this summer and see if you can get a display model. That's what I did with my Elite. But then again, I couldn't imagine waiting that long for a purchase...I'm just way too impulsive.

    Good luck!

*best price. Correct I am actaually getting ready to walk in now and just see if they are willing to deal any. I wouldn't mind paying another couple hundred if I can get it there but not willing to go upwards of $500 or so. And know exactly what you mean on the impulsive buys. :( haha

Well bestbuy didn't give me' the time of day like usual (may look more like I'm 16 and not a pharmacist- haha). So went home and emailed the eBay store again. Called this AM at 11 and the guy I had been talking to answered and was actually emailing me' back (8 am in CA) and answered my additional questions while I was on the phone. He said it is an 'A-stock' non grey market item with a US serial item number and it is brand new non opened box with all the items that are included from the manufacturer. Said he would send me' the PayPal invoice while we were on the phone. Gave me' a 2 year warranty they would honor (since they are not an authorized dealer- and got it in writing), and included shipping- fedex, double boxed, and fully insured all for $1385. Should be here in 4 days and can't wait!
From all that u had read from google sources, yahoo, and eBay this site seemed like a great company and legit. I appreciate the help and will be sure to let you all know how everything turns out- I'll be sure to update my HT pics as well!!
