I wanna check the wiring inside my CS400i, how do you get there?
Dodd - Battery Preamp
Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player
ADS 1230 - Polk SDA 2B
DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
Outlaw ICBM - crossover
Beringher BFD - sub eq

Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

    Yank a 6.5... well, don't YANK it, carefully remove it.....

    how do I yank it? have you seen the 400i, there are no screws for the drivers on the outside, I guess they are on the inside?? the mounting surface the drivers are in have this funny looking screw head, I don't have this thing in my tool box, looking for suggestions.

    The little 'star' thingee. You can pick em up at Home Depot, oh, and while you are out, get a .5 ounce bottle of flat black Testors model paint too, just incase you nick the 'screws' up, you can touch them up once they are back in place.....

    Remove the speaker connector plate off the back of the unit. Yeah it's a small area, but you may be able to see just enough of the inside. I had to remove this plate early this year because the small tube connected to the front port fell off inside the speaker. It was just big enough for me to squeeze my hand through to put the tube back in place.

    Just in case you go and get the right bit they are torx(sp) head screws.

    Thanks guys, I had no torx screw driver, so I used a jigsaw to get in, the duct tape job I did putting it back together is really sweet but I wish duct tape came in black the gray really stands out.
