Our 1 year old french bulldog was hospitalized recently due to ingestion of neuro toxic mushrooms. She ate them from our backyard and started to seizure. According to the vet she dodged a major bullet. (Liver and kidney tests came back fine) So if you don't want a five page vet bill (There goes my Oppo BDP-93) watch out for those nasty little fungi!

Or just get rid of the dog. Much easier than eliminating all the wild mushrooms.

same thing happened to a friend's puppy
    but wasn't so lucky.

and a next door neighbor spend $$
for emergency service when her lab puppy
    got in chocolate halloween candy.

We came close. The vet didn't think she would make it. But some how she managed to pull through.
