alright, i have a 61" HDTV, rear projection, etc etc etc. anyways, it has a ridiculous glare being where it is. in the middle of the day, all you see are the windows and doors in the room. makes it a bit difficult to watch tv, let alone a movie if im bored that day.

anyways, can anyone recommend a coating or film or something that would help cut the glare and make it watchable in the middle of the day? ive found a few products online, but im not paying as much as it would cost to replace the tv for it. any advice is greatly appreciated, aside from "redo the room" lol

Most RPHDTVs have a protective screen that is indeed very reflective. I removed the protective screen on both my RPHDTVs. Better picture. Just be careful with kids, cats and anything sharp.

sometimes it'd be nice to watch tv with the blinds open on a nicer day and have the kids play in a lighted room and still see the television lol
